Despite the fact that the Chicago artist Jean Deaux has not released a single full-length album, she is a fairly noticeable creative unit. The singer graced the works of Isaiah Rashad, Saba, Pivot Gang, Mykki Blanco, Mick Jenkins and many others with her vocals, creating a truly captivating and enchanting atmosphere.

Since 2018, she has been steadily releasing mini-albums that reveal her multifaceted view of music, where mysterious synth-funk coexists with warm eclecticism of soft R&B and lush neo-soul. After a year-long hiatus, Jin is back with a seven-track project called “HEAVY” that retains her classic sound motifs.
